Bear Bones recording extravaganza!!!

What do you get when you have 20+ friends over for a backup vocals recording sesh??? Lots of beer, great company, and an amazing sounding track!!! Busdriver played a free show at End of an Ear the afternoon before his Red7 show. Super fun, very close and intimate. They played for about 30 minutes and I enjoyed every second.

Lower Class Brats FU-SXSW09

Every year for South by South West, Austin residents are plagued with even worse traffic than normal, an insane amount of tourist, and to top it off you need a wristband to get into the bars that your a regular at. Wristbands usually go for 150+ depending on when you buy, so what's a broke kid to do? Luckily a handful of bands and business recognize these problems and solve them for the people who matter. Local punk rock legends, Lower Class Brats, were kind enough to play a free parking lot show for those "in the know". Enjoy :)

GERMS Return Show July 11, 2009 @ Red 7 Austin

It was very, very, very odd to see someone act as Darby Crash....Don't get me wrong THE GERMS kicked ass! Lorna, Pat and Don all amazed me, but Shane West...That guy was in a Walk to Remember. I could stop thinking that, he's an ACTOR. He was ACTING like Darby Crash. Why would you act like a ignorant human been who was loaded on H all the time? Still I wonder....

Krum bums opened and Mr. Lift-o introduced the Germs while lifting various items. Pretty cool stuff.
